If you go see this movie make sure you stay till the very end of the closing credits. There is two scenes after the end of the movie. One mid way through the credits and one all the way after the credits. Both have some significancy to the story. I went to see the movie today and only two people (out of maybe 50 viewers) stayed long enough to see the scene. Plus the cinema didn't realize there was an after credit scene so the sound was already off. When I told the staff, there is still a post credit scene, they were like "oh yeah, it did that yesterday too". OMG.
Overall the movie was decent. Not great, but very decent and entertaining. Great visually, very good acting (although Lulu Wilson plays the same role over and over, hope she makes it out of that box eventually), tight directing, but the story lacked and the characters did stupid things a few time - I expected a bit more from the Conjuring universe…
But still would recommend and there are some genuinely nice and scary scenes. Would give it 65%.

The Annabelle movies are not as good as The Conjuring movies, but all 4 are sufficiently creepy and well made. I assume the 'Demon Nun' character, which has been used in all 4 movies if I'm not mistaken, is going to be more of a focus in both part 3s?

Ah damn why couldn't that be the 1st credits scene (which was a waste). Id have to give Annabelle a 4/10. Nothing about it was original, same repeated horror tropes seen in every other horror. The cgi was really fake looking and they overused the false jump scare 1 too many times. It doesn't hold a candle to Conjuring 1 or 2 and The Babadook.

When I told the staff, there is still a post credit scene, they were like "oh yeah, it did that yesterday too". what the fuck yeah, that was a very wtf moment. I was like "do you guys even care"? (in my head. i have had a conflict with a manager of a cinema before over the movies not being projected in the right ratio several times in one month and nobody from the staff seemed to care a significant portion of the movie was either not showing or significant portion of the screen was not being used, once they even showed it with a letterbox around it. and the manager just kept telling me "its not a problem". I ended up taking pictures of the "non-problem" and once I had about 4 pictures clearly showing A PROBLEM I went back to them. They still didn't care. I couldn't believe their attitude. And I said some things. And thats how I got banned from a cinema :-))
