I just finished reading American Gods and now plan to watch the Starz series.
Just curious, to anyone who's read the book and and watched the show, which did you enjoy better?

Both suck. I've read other Neil Gaiman novels (ie: The Ocean at the End of the Lane) which I liked but American Gods was to unfocused, IMHO. THe TV series was even worse. Slow to develop and totally boring characters. I was really hoping the Leprechaun from the novel would have had a more dynamic actor in the TV series. It was the only interesting thing about the book.
