Nope. And I doubt I'd get through much of it if I were to try it. Although there are some exceptions, when it comes to fiction, I primarily only care about genre fiction.

I always have had trouble - when I tried to read the Russian "Classics". It seems that one person can be called several different names depending on their relationship to the speaker so that I often had no idea who was who. For me, reading a book and needing Cliff's Notes or Classic Comics as a handy dandy reference is pointless. Hey, at least I tried ! Edit : I see that the OP has now nuked the question so some of the replies read rather like a Russian Novel

Yep. I've always considered it one of the finest 'classics' I've read, but I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance of me revisiting it. I found Anna Karenina much more of a slog though, I've never been so glad for a train to finally arrive.
