Thanks for your recommendations, BATouttaheck I've meanwhile watched Some Like It Hot and The Seven Year Itch, too. Both are hilarious. As for The Misfits, I thought it was a good film and she gave a brilliant performance. I had some difficulties with it, though, because of the cruelty against the horses. I added Niagara, Bend on the River and Bus Stop to my watchlist. Juliekohler, Bat Outtaheck made a mistake with Bend of the River. It is a good movie with James Stewart and Julie Adams but it does not have Marilyn Monroe in it. I am sure Bat meant to say River of No Return. Keep Bend of the River on your watchlist but add River of No Return for Marilyn & Robert Mitchum.

Maybe that's the reason why they had no scenes together. OR It might have been because the characters in the film never had any reason to interact with each other. I'm sure the scriptwriters could have found a reason.

Sure IF they had wanted to change the story just so that Crawford and Garbo could have had a scene together. What would have been the POINT ?

My favourite film of Joan Crawford is Forsaking all Others, with Clark Gable and Robert Montgomery. I like the way they all exchange banter all the time, even during moments of great tension. Also enjoy Love on the Run, also with Clark Gable.

I think she was great, I know I enjoy watching her. I think she might have a bad reputation but I'm not 100% certain of all the rumors. I loved her in Mildred Pierce and not long ago I saw I Saw What You Did. I have quite a few of her movies recorded to watch, keep saying I'm gonna have a Joan Crawford day but I have yet to do so.
