I challenge anyone who thinks she's a talentless hack to sit at a piano and do something like this:

She has always had talent. I do believe that some people overlooked that when she 1st came out because of the image she projected. I mean a dress made of meat? Come on. Now that it is more about her music than the image she projects I hope more people will see how amazingly talented she is.

She's very talented. She's a fantastic singer and I'm sure she could write some great songs (I like some of her music, but I'm sure she could do better).

While I appreciate her talent, there aren't many songs of hers that I actually like. She should put out an album of well-written songs that showcase what's lost in all the pop dance crap. Not that some of it isn't catchy, but it's really just not my style. She had the right idea when she employed Brian May on You and I...

She's tried WAY too hard with all this bizarre nonsense when she didn't need to. Just let the talent do the talking.

If we're talking about what people can achieve on a piano, this should be in the conversation.

Vintage Lady Gaga Live at NYU - Captivated & Electric Kiss I've never heard that before. That's really good. I like it a lot. Especially the first song. She needs to do more of that now. Thanks for sharing. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Someone posted that on the old IMDb board many years ago. I love it when someone can just sit at a piano or hold a guitar and sing and do something like that. I mean, she could do that spur of the moment in someone's living room. That's pure, raw talent.

Thanks for those two videos, Admin. I remember hearing ‘Just Dance’ on the radio for the first time – I quite enjoyed it. Then there was ‘Poker Face’ and I enjoyed that too. I even bought both singles. ‘Paparazzi’ I heard for the first time as an acoustic version, with her just playing it on the piano like with the videos you posted and I really enjoyed that one. At a later date I heard the ‘studio’ version. I think I still prefer that acoustic version, as it has stuck in my memory all this time. I might have to dig out her 'The Fame' album from wherever I have it stashed and listen to it again (I haven't listened to it for some time). It was quite surprising when I heard on the radio how well she was doing, as I don’t think I’ve ever really known many artists before they’ve become well-known (I’m usually very behind with becoming aware of new artists and it’s not until their names/faces are plastered everywhere that I’m wondering “Who is that person?”, but in this instance I guess I first heard her pretty early on in her career). It might not be a popular opinion, but I’ve also enjoyed her in the last two seasons of American Horror Story (a show that I’m not even sure why I’m watching other than out sheer morbid curiosity). Also, her episode of The Simpsons is the only episode I’ve watched of that show in quite a long time – and I thought it was actually quite amusing too. ![](https://s9.favim.com/orig/130902/cry-funny-girls-lady-gaga-Favim.com-891513.png)

She's tried WAY too hard with all this bizarre nonsense when she didn't need to. Just let the talent do the talking. That's the thing about anybody with an in your face image. It helps them sell more records than they likely would otherwise, but at the same time it causes some people to discredit them automatically and overlook their talent, when ideally it shouldn't have either effect.

I challenge anyone who thinks she's a talentless hack to sit at a piano and do something like this: Good but I'm not impressed. Ever heard of Kate Bush, Tori Amos or Fiona Apple? They can do much better.

![](https://s26.postimg.org/5hoy7902h/confused.gif) In that first video, at least, she's just playing very rudimentary, block chord stuff. I could teach you how to play that in a pretty short period of time. I wouldn't say that she has zero talent, but whatever talent she has she's wasting on writing banal crap. In turn, I'd like to challenge Lady Gaga to play something like this:

It's been reported that Taylor Kinney's just started attending shows in Chicago, Illinois, a distraction Gaga does not need. She's all about the music, baby!
