And someone asks, "Did you say the future, Erjen?" And Erjen says, "Yes, my friend, the future. Enjoy."

So a list of fairly inconsequential events...
1) Aug 21st - the eclipse. Incidentally he claims that if you plot the next one, it makes a giant X "right over the centre of the united states". Southern Illinois isn't really that central.
2) Aug 23rd - a FEMA exercise.
3) Sep 1st - Start of FEMA's annual national preparedness month.
4) Sep 1st - the US ban on citizens going to North Korea goes into effect.
5) Sep 11th - 16 anniversary of 9/11.
6) Sep 20th - Rosh Hashanah begins.
7) Sep 21st - the UN international day of peace.
8) Sep 23rd - The "revelation 12 sign". He seems to think that a planetary alignment will fulfill a passage from revelation 12. Revelation 12 doesn't actually have anything about planetary alignments in it, but why let a little thing like that stop you from believing it.
9) Sep 24th - National elections in Germany.
10) Sep 29th - Yom Kippur begins.
11) Sep 29th - US treasury secretary says the debt ceiling will be breached on this day. Unless it's raised, of course, as it always is. It will be interesting to see how republicans try to spin that as being the fault of the democrats this time around!
12) Sep 30th - If Congress doesn't pass a budget, the government will shut down. Again, would be fun to see them try and blame the Democrats for that. I bet they avoid the shutdown.
In other words, a list of entirely ordinary stuff of the kind that happens pretty much in any given chunk of time. Amusingly, he asks "so what does this all mean?" Lest you are waiting with bated breath, he immediately says "I don't know."
Which is unsurprising, given that it doesn't actually seem to mean all that much at all beyond "things you might want to put in your calendar."

Then you were surprised that there were no surprises?

Then you were surprised that there were no surprises? I was kind of hoping there would be something Earth-melty in it, given the preview image. That's false advertising, that is.
