I thought it was a great action comedy. Has anyone else here seen it?

I thought it was a great action comedy. Has anyone else here seen it? yep. And IF the movie had been 20 minutes shorter, I would have also said that it was a great action comedy. But because to me the end dragged, I would say its a pretty entertaining (silly) action comedy. Certainly exceeded my expectations and provided for a few good laughs and kept me entertained for most of it. I especially liked two parts in it: 1) where Darius tells the story how he met his wife - that is shot so well, i loved it 2) where Micheal vents to the vendor while shit is blowing up behind it. What was your favourite part in it? Oh and the "jump" from the car toward the end was also well shot and very funny.

Haven't seen it yet but I do like the 3 leads (Reynolds, SLJ & of course the lovely Hayek). Probably seeing it next week.

Probably seeing it next week. yeah, they save the movie. the script is of course silly (to even plain bad) but Reynolds and Jackson bring their charm and for me it worked… because of it. I liked their banter and chemistry much better than for example the new Spidermans chemistry with Iron Man (or anyone else in the movie)

It's like stand up comedy-joke joke joke-oh, we need to actually deal with a plot because this is a movie? That said, I'm waiting for the decision on which we are headed to tomorrow-this or Logan Lucky. I think this looks like mindless fun. My daughter's heard good things about Logan.

Found it pretty average. Very slow start imo, but picks up in the 2nd act. Still, way too long. I actually had semi-high expectations but ended but just being OK. Some people in my theater loved it though.

I enjoyed it. Basically an action flick. Everything doesn't have to be a 10. You can enjoy a good solid entertaining waste of time B movie.
What else would I be doing? Finishing last season of Flash off my DVR.
Sudoku.

Some people in my theater loved it though. Let me guess. The same members of the audience laughed and hooted loudly every time SLJ said something? No matter what he said?

The laughing was equal for stuff said by both actors. You sound a bit jaded. It's OK to do popcorn flicks & have a good time. They seemed to love SLJ's song. They liked Reynolds' quips. They like the director at the start imitating both actors.

Just seen it and I must say it was probably the first movie I've seen so far that didn't disappoint, it was just as expected.
Fun and enjoyable but I would say they seemed to use the f-word more than needed though.

I saw this one - and I loved it!! Question: Does anyone think there was a "nod" to Ferris Bueller's Day Off in this? I'm thinking of the moment when they are flying over a hill in the sports car and Ryan Reynold's has the same look on his face as the two guys did when they "borrowed" Cameron's dad's car and sent it flying over a hill like that, too. (Samuel L. Jackson looked bored, which made it funnier.)

it was fine. great is a little much. a lesser cast wouldn't have been able to sell it.
