I know it came out in 1997 but GOD DAM what a terrible game. No tutorials for a control system that is so confusing, i could not even open my inventory at times because i did not have any action points, you need action points to shoot a gun! and im not even sure how to get said points. I didnt have to engage in much combat to know that all this would make it annoying as fck! How did it become the game we know and love today? im glad i illegaly downloaded it, had i paid for it id be pissed.

The only thing I don't like about the game is the time limit. I guess it makes it an interesting race to The Master. I prefer 2.

Yes, the control system in Fallout 2 is better than in 1. You can also cross the Wastelands much quicker and run into less bad guys out there in F2. Also, the lack of a (critical) Time Limit. There's a lot more flexibility in F2 as well. An older Fallout game you might find more suitable is Fallout Tactics.

If you want single player Fallout 4 i suggest... 'Fallout 4 FitGirl' (much smaller download size (i.e. about 23GB vs 47GB) and game is fully intact and costs cannot be beat if you catch the drift ) have fun p.s. for the record... i have not tried that particular game yet but i did play Fallout 3 in the past.
