I still have to see a couple comic book movies, especially the older ones, but here's a list of my favorites in alphabetical order
The Avengers Batman Begins Captain America: The Winter Soldier The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Rises Edge of Tomorrow (don't know if 'All You Need Is Kill' counts as a graphic novel') Guardians of the Galaxy Iron Man Kingsman: The Secret Service Snowpiercer V for Vendetta Wonder Woman

Not an easy list to make, and I am sure I forgot a beloved title somewhere. Also, this list doesn't take GotG Vol. 2, Wonder Woman or Spider-man: HC into account as I haven't had the chance to see them yet. So, like most best of lists, this one is fluid.
In alphabetical order:
30 Days Of Night The Avengers Batman Begins Blade 2 Captain America: Civil War Captain America: The First Avenger Captain America: Winter Soldier Dark Knight Deadpool Guardians Of The Galaxy Kick-Ass Logan The Rocketeer Snowpiercer Spider-Man 2 Superman (1978) Superman 2 Watchmen X-Men: Days of Future Past X-Men: First Class

1. The Dark Knight 2. The Dark Knight Rises 3. The Avengers 4. Captain America Civil War 5. Batman Begins 6. Batman 7. Avengers Age of Ultron 8. Iron Man 9. Spider-man 2 10. Spider-man 11. Captain America Winter Soldier 12. Man of Steel 13. X-men 2 14. X-men Days of Future Past 15. X-men First Class 16. Guardians of the Galaxy 17. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 18. Deadpool 19. Logan 20. Spider-man Homecoming
Perhaps something like that without over thinking it too drastically.

I'm always curious with these list threads if the OP is compiling a database of results or if everybody just writes down their own list, not giving a shit what anybody else wrote, and then the whole thread just sorta floats down the boards.
But off hand I know several of the films I'd say I return to most frequently or thought stood above even the good films as extremely well crafted are
V for Vendetta Avengers Winter Soldier Civil War Guardians of the Galaxy Doctor Strange X-Men X2 Batman Begins The Dark Knight Watchmen Unbreakable
and that might be about it that I'd put on an elite of the elite level. There are a whole ton of films that would go on level 2, but I can say something like Dredd would be a level 3 because it's just too simple, but that films like TDKR would go below that because there are numerous elements it felt like they simply neglected or rushed.

Not actually based on a comic book etc but I'll let it pass because it is so good. Have you seen Defendor? Another super hero/man with mental illness film with Woody Harrelson as the hero.

Another super hero/man with mental illness film with Woody Harrelson as the hero. duly noted, I'm not too well versed in this regard. I will put it in brackets for good order's sake, but leave it in as it is good but underappreciated. Critically speaking, "Unbreakable" is probably not based on a CB either? Defendor is now on my watch list. Thanks.

SUPER and DEFENDOR are both highly entertaining "super-hero" films. Definitely recommended.
