In the 35 years since he died, the sci-fi writer’s probing of the nature of reality seems ever more prescient. Ahead of a Blade Runner sequel and new C4 series, three novelists pick their favourite works: www.theguardian.com/books/2017/aug/27/philip-k-dick-best-novels-blade-runner-minority-reportPuttering About in a Small Land - Chosen by Nicola Barker Time Out of Joint - Chosen by Michael Moorcock Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? - Chosen by Adam Roberts

Dick's got some brilliantly original ideas but I always found his writing pretty dry.

I'm also really excited about the upcoming anthology series: Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams.

I love several of his novels but my favorite is Ubik. I cannot wait to see that adapted to film.

Not a fan. I've read the one that was adapted as Blade Runner and The Man in the High Castle. I have little recollection of the former, but I remember being underwhelmed. As for the latter, I really didn't like it.
I have also read some short stories that seem to be on the public domain (as they are available for free in electronic format) and didn't find them very interesting either - but those may have been from very early in his career.

I remember liking the three stigmata of Palmer Eldritch when I read it many moons ago.

Philip K. Dick's original ideas resulted in a fairly long list of movies that took his ideas and expanded on them.
It's a pretty impressive list.
