I liked it because pre-internets it seemed like the latest possible wkend sports wrap up before Monday.
I didn't flock to it on the regular though, too often cherry picking some sports & stories while completely overlooking others.

RIP. As another poster stated above - it was pretty much the 'wrapup' for the week on a late Sunday night - would never miss it as a kid - local sports media legend around here (love him or hate him) Howard Eskin used to appear on his show. |

I can remember watching that show every Sunday night when I was in college. It was on late at night, so I usually watched it by myself after my roommates had already gone to bed (I was a night owl even back then).
The mention of that show makes me feel nostalgic.
