2016 2nd round pick. Bills swapped 2nd rounders with Chicago and threw in a couple of 4th round picks, last year's and this year's.
Ragland has never played a professional down, and now they're sending him to KC for a conditional 2019 4th rounder.

Yeah, he's probably not Lawrence Taylor, but why not give him a chance?
I'm really not getting this unless it's an epic tank job. Putting all the eggs into one basket for Sam Darnold or whoever is the top QB. Fine. And if he's Ryan Leaf 2.0, this franchise is fucked for another five years.
I don't think I'm going to a game this year. Why?

This team wasn't a threat for more than WC game and that was a stretch. The playoff drought is embarrassing but the mediocrity is worse. Its better to be 2-14 than 7-9. A couple years of rebuild and maybe the team will be able to play with New England when (if) Brady ever leaves. But its a big big gamble. The Bills put all their hope in Sam Darnold and he a crap of gets hurt. Then the team wanders the wilderness for another 5-7 years. Will the fan base deal with it? The Pegulas won't move the team now, but if the fans get tired, maybe the next rich asshole that waves a billion under their noses will be listened to. San Diego Bills, St. Louis Bills, San Antonio Bills. And it should have been done after last season, instead of one game into the preseason.

From my understanding, Ragland can't play in the new scheme. I never quite understood this with football players. I assumed if they are gifted athletes, they should be able to play no matter if it's 3-4 or 4-3 and just make adjustments.

Why? yeah - i'm thinking Shady wants out of there and he's on the trade block too - wishing the Birds would make an offer as their run game blows ass and they've never recovered from that trade that brought back kiko alonso

Fun fact. The Bills haven't draft and developed a decent starting QB since...
"The Penguin", Joe Ferguson in 1973! (Jim Kelly was drafted but the USFL developed him and Frank Reich was never really a starter).
The blind squirrel doesn't always find a nut.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bills haven't drafted a decent anything since The Lateral. McGahee had a couple of thousand yarders but was soon dispatched to the Ravens. CJ Spiller seemed to be constantly misused (or just not as good as advertised). For every 10 yards forward that he gained, he gained 30 yards sideways.

Eric Wood is a grossly underrated player. Marcell Darius has his moments but creates more problems. Stephon Gillmore has moments also. But there's a ton of lumps. Aaron Maybin, EJ, John McCargo, JP Loseman. They should stay away from Clemson (CJ, Sammy) and Alabama (Ragland, Marcell, Cyrus Kajagogoo)
