that you know of like for example the led zeppeling at live aid. Or even worse, hopefully. I have heard soundgarden and def leppard really sucked live but I will have to check.

Beach Boys live performances when they visited Australia during the 1970s. They were horribly drunk.
Many Australians still haven't forgiven them for that.

Never again.

Actually, Def Leppard used to be amazing live, but that was before crappy "Hysteria." This is how I choose to remember them.

Dave sounds bad on most songs but the music is very good. At least they had the balls to put out a true "live" album with no edits or parts rerecorded in the studio which every "live" album in the past has.

As far as bad performances go, the most disappointing for me is Eddie Van Halen playing Beat It live with Michael Jackson. At 3:00, Eddie launches into the guitar solo at the wrong time and what should have been great becomes a train wreck. Heartbreaking stuff.

Saw Leppard and Iron Maiden a lot at the Marquee in London around 1980 when they wouln''t even fill it. Nice bunch of lads Leppard were at the time of the first album. Still got the Bludgeon Riffola single somewhere, wonder if it;s worth anything.

I read in an interview that Ed tuned his guitar backstage to one of the rhythm guitarist's who was out of tune. That's why it sounds like crap.

I am a big Ozzy fan but probably around 30% of his performances were really bad. That was a guy you just had to catch on the right night.
