Teenaged Mr. Phelps and Marshall Dillon about to take a dip in the pool. Does anyone else think that a teenage James Arness looks like an over-sized Anthony Michael Hall? A few other notes of interest: It must be scary to enter into the world looking the same as when you went out (James Cagney, Frank Sinatra). Baby Lucy was one gorgeous baby! My, Angela Lansbury was one darn pretty lady!

The eyes should have been the give away but I didn't guess who it was, Doghouse6 If you get a chance, watch the Karloff "This is Your Life" on ewe tube. He is THE best guest they ever had, imo.
Here's another future "Scary" for ya It's little Christopher Lee

The gent above as he appeared in the 1940 THE GREEN HORNET. Would not have recognized him in either image. Well, maybe if he spoke. Richard Kimble

Eva Marie Saint as a 19-year-old girl. This picture was published in The Cincinnati Enquirer in 1943, long before she reached movie stardom. And here is a gif I created from a small television role she had in 1949. Still 5 more years to go before she would make her film debut.

Kim Novak at age 13. It was published in an Illinois newspaper back in 1946.

Not entirely sure if this really fits in the thread topic, but before Mamie Van Doren ever appeared in any films, she got crowned Miss Palm Springs by Gregory Peck. This came from a 1949 newspaper.
