A good cast, but Paul Bettany was the wrong choice for Silas. It's a very entertaining film, big budget, moves at a leisurely pace with an incredible score by Hans Zimmer. I liked most of the film, more of less, but the ending is one of my all-time favorites, when Langdon finally figures out the secret of the Grail. 8/10

7/10 - I had already read the book when I saw this, and the movie never lives up to the book (because they leave so much out).

I hate the book, I can't decide whether the movie makes it worse or better. A 5 for me, utterly forgettable waste of time imo.

I rather liked this one. It was as silly as anything, of course, but the general unfolding of the conspiracy is clever, the actors are fine in nondescript roles (especially Sir Ian McKellen, who chews wildly on the scenery), and the plot is well-clued and surprising. The biggest problems with it derive from the ahistorical potboiler on which it's based, but--heck--even that's kinda sorta fun (even if the book's writing stinks: honestly, Brown can plot, but--my God--is his writing bad). Better by far than either Angels and Demons or the rather dull Inferno.
I am still waiting for a History Channel documentary that "proves" that Jesus had 19 wives and 115 children, though.

One of best worst movies. Empty but fun.

if you ever wondered what Indiana Jones would be like without any of the adventure or excitement.

I don't care what is true or not, I watched it as an old fashioned follow the clues, but on a mega budget. 7/10

7/10. Entertaining enough. Never read the book so I can't comment as to whether the casting choices were appropriate for the source material, but I liked the cast in the movie.

4/10. It's silly airport fluff but it's convinced that it's an ingenious slice of Oscarbait. Angels&Demons was slightly better but still had its boring moments. I enjoyed Inferno (2016) the most out of these movies.

An entertaining if preposterous romp. 7/10.

It's an enjoyable movie, in my opinion, and I liked Tom Hanks, etc, in it.
