Skip Prokop was a founding member of the Canadian 70s rock band Lighthouse, known for their hits One Fine Morning and Sunny Days. Mr. Propkop died yesterday at the age of 74.
I was fortunate enough to see Lighhouse in concert twice in the 90s when they reunited. They put on a dynamite show!
Rest in peace, Skip.

I've heard a handful of songs by Lighthouse, I liked them. I like Prokop's earlier band The Paupers.

I was working in London, Ontario this week, so I had the radio station tuned to 1290 CJBK all week. They had made mention that Skip worked at CJBK, as well as BX93 and CIQM (Virgin Radio). They are all in the same building.
