Just to name a few... Breaking Bad Sons of Anarchy Friends How I Met Your Mother Boardwalk Empire Entourage Desperate Housewives what was wrong with the finale of Breaking Bad? I agree on HIMYM. That must be one of the genuinely most despised finales of all tv shows throughout history⦠no other bad finales come even anywhere close to the disaster of the finale of HIMYM⦠Yeah, after all those years of wondering who the Mother actually was, and then she doesn't even last an entire episode. Talk about a cop-out. Another one no one mentioned is Dinosaurs. Everyone dies a slow death!

If Twin Peaks doesn't get a season 4 - and it seems unlikely - then it belongs here.

I loved Soap. Hated how they ended it.

I'm torn about the finale of Dexter. Sure it was terrible, that last three seasons had taken such a horrid, boring downturn, a bad finale just seemed par for the course. By that point, I really wasn't expecting anything more than mediocre.

The Shield
...bad ass cop played by Michael Chiklis is rendered impotent...he deserved to go out in a blaze of glory...!!!

Vic was practically the villain of the piece. He did not deserve a blaze of glory ending. His impotence is the perfect punishment for his crimes. How the mighty have fallen is a fitting end to The Shield.

True blood. The show was terrible for a long time. But I still don't think I could have been prepared for how bad that ending was.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned The Sopranos. That show's finale really pissed off a lot of people.

I very much hated Castle's finale. I was never a fan of St. Elsewhere, but how stupid was that finale? An absolute insult to the loyal viewer. Roseanne was dumb as well.

Just to name a few... Breaking Bad Sons of Anarchy Friends How I Met Your Mother Boardwalk Empire Entourage Desperate Housewives I don't necessarily have a problem with how Boardwalk Empire ended, but it was way too rushed. They obviously needed more time to wrap things up.

the wonder years... the way the dad would turn scary like 90 percent of the time, all yelling and crap. no wonder and good riddance. [although I love dan lauria]. Lois and Clark... where the fvk did that baby come from and why were they so freaking happy? i'd be freaking out in regards to babyproofing the house and getting diapers/formula like-now! Seinfeld. . I had to look it up to make sure but it died in 1998. one year after the death of Princess diana. and the reason why I bring this up is the court ruling these four earned kind of coincided with the basic demise of Princess Di. lack of empathy. people were too busy taking pictures to fcking. help. her. same with these four twits. too busy laughing at this poor man to even call the police. it's enough to understand why so many countries dislike America. can't blame them when we need an empathy law. I think, just considering what happened the year before, it was just in poor taste. if princess di didn't die like that or at all -- preferably at all, i'd be okay with it. Beverly hills 90210. when donna separated her boobies one last time to get married in the house of the lord. vut? how is this appropriate apparel for a religious wedding??? and david looks like he just got out of bed.

I thought "Rosanne" had a great ending. It was kind of like the writers going "We know we sent this once great show into story hell trying to GRAB RATINGS with stupid plot devices such as WINNING THE LOTTO and DAN SURVIVES his HEART ATTACK"
So they said "Rosanne just wrote the final season." It was her way of coping with Dan's death. I thought that was brilliant.
As far as shows go with truly bad endings... Seinfield.

I think a problem with the Roseanne ending isn't that she just wrote the final season, but she wrote most of the entire show. As if almost half of the entire series we just watched didn't happen. Jackie was gay, not Bev. Darlene dated Mark. Becky dated David. Those events go back way further into the series than just the last season. I would've been fine with it if it'd just been the last season that was fictional, but it turns out, most of the series was fictional.

I think you might be right. At that point, who's to say what actually happened.
Any idea what season that was?

I still think the finale should have been Brandon getting on a plane and the plane going down.

I wish Clare (Kathleen Robertson) had been on the show longer than what she was. I wish she had not left at the end of season 7. But yeah i agree the end of BH 90210 was not very good.
