I actually like Roseanne's. Almost redeemed the last few seasons.
Seinfeld's was pretty lame. The general idea was funny, but the execution feels like a glorified clip show with a distractingly fake laugh track.

Yeah, the problem wasn't only that, the greatest hits were shoehorned in with the less funny carjacking. I remember thinking wtf is this. Hindsight is 20-20, I might've had the Seinfeld finale be filmed entirely in New York... using actual locations in place for their Hollywood sets. Of course, many of those would be less funny & more ordinary looking... adding to the charm. |

I wasn't a huge fan of The Wonder Years' finale. I know why the show ended (too pricey to film the characters on location, multiple characters-multiple locales, etc), not least the 'wonder years' were about Kevin's youth.
I guess it felt too safe & predictable, until that final shot & narration when it all felt a bit too improvised in the writing room - Dad? Oh, yeah, he passed away not soon afterwards. Gee terrific.

I COMPLETELY forgot about The Wonder Years........for a show I loved SO much, I NEVER felt so ripped-off over a finale, ever, than I was with that one. It almost seemed like they were told they were being cancelled a month before it was final, and the producers quickly threw together a story-line, decided to do a 'voice-over' at the end, and then, for whatever reason, took a vote, "should we kill off the old man" or "should we let him live to see his grandkids".........hmmmmm........."I think 'offing' him would have more shock value, so let's do that..... " What a DEPRESSING finish for a show that, for the most part, was REALLY heartfelt and unique, and REALLY well done.....  SAVE FERRIS

Just to name a few... Breaking Bad Sons of Anarchy Friends How I Met Your Mother Boardwalk Empire Entourage Desperate Housewives what was wrong with the finale of Breaking Bad? I agree on HIMYM. That must be one of the genuinely most despised finales of all tv shows throughout history… no other bad finales come even anywhere close to the disaster of the finale of HIMYM… My main problem with the HIMYM final is that they spent seasons after season on how Ted and Robin was not ment to be toghter. And than they just change that in a few seconds in the final. At least the alternative final is a little better. Than it just ends with Ted and Tracy meeting on the train station. |

I can't believe no one's mentioned Lost. I never really had a problem with the Lost final. Sure it was far from great, but i don`t think it was as bad as many thinks. |
