I know Agents of Shield is doing the more current Ghost Rider for their show, which is actually really cool. I watched all the episodes with him in it and it's cool how they integrated him into the universe even tho he's a supernatural kind of character. But I'd like to see the MCU do Johnny Blaze. Doctor Strange really opened the door into bringing in supernatural and magic characters like that, so it wouldn't feel out of place in anyway. And in the comics, Mephisto is an ally/enemy of Thanos as well. I think they could get away with going a little darker tool. When I watched the Ghost Rider episodes, I was actually surprised how dark they got, especially with the blood. It's even more darker and graphic than the DCEU films. I don't think we really need a R-rated Ghost Rider film, it can easily go with a PG-13 and just barely push the boundaries of their rating and still get away with it. Just an underrated character I think

It would have made a good Netflix series. It'd have needed a bigger budget than the usual Netflix show though for the CGI.
I'm not sure if they wasted their chance by having him in Shield already. Might confuse some people if they did it now.

he's one of my favorite comic characters. i was even ready to renege on quitting AoS until i heard they were just cross promoting the New Coke version. sucks because it makes seeing Ketch or Blaze a lot less likely now.

I think they did Robbie Reyes exclusively so they still had Johnny Blaze available to bring in later on. Whether that's a Netflix show or in a film I guess we'll see, but I suspect they'll get to him sooner or later.
And I agree, I would love to see it. They way they fit him into Shield was excellent. The way they hinted at Johnny being around before that was excellent. I loved every bit of it.

Yea it'd be a shame for him to wind up being the Steel out of the Marvel characters.

I would like to see a Ghost Rider show/film that stars both Robbie Reyes and Johnny Blaze. Johnny can be a veteran Ghost Rider who been at it for decades and would serve as a mentor to Robbie.

A la AntMan it could work. Kinda like Ant-Man, but I would have Blaze have more physical role rather than just talk to Robbie over a headphone or some shit. There's a comic were Johnny helped Robbie whos going out of control and blaze knocks his ass out. I want Johnny to be more than some old tired man like pym was.
