Gotta say I love John Doucette. So many great films. Elisha Cook, Jr. too. Roy Roberts - I had to look him up to recall his name. By the way, he's the one on the right (but in the wrong).

Ray Teal in Best Years of Our Lives My favorite Ray Teal is the Sheriff with the rattlesnake in "Ace In The Hole." Couldn't find a picture but didn't look very hard. There must be one out there. I'll try tomorrow. Good night, everybody!

Poor Ray just could not avoid getting into trouble with disabled WW2 vets, Mike and Aussie. In Brando's debut film THE MEN, paraplegic Marlon punches him out after he condescending praises the table of them in a postwar bar.

mattgarth This one is labeled as being Ray Teal (far right) but it's hard to tell . That's Richard Erdman on the left and Debuting Brando, center. Here he is in Ace In the Hole

Douglas Spencer (a George Stevens favorite in PLACE and SHANE and ANNE FRANK) -- pictured here in his most famous role as the reporter 'Scotty' in THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD reminding everyone within the sound of his voice to "Watch the skies, keep watching the skies."

Gotta say I love John Doucette. So many great films. Elisha Cook, Jr. too. Roy Roberts - I had to look him up to recall his name. By the way, he's the one on the right (but in the wrong). Though usually cast in westerns, John Doucette plays a swayable citizen of Rome when Brando delivers the "lend me your ears" speech in Julius Caesar. I think of Roy Roberts as the ship captain on the Gale Storm Show (with Zasu Pitts).
