Out of all of these actors who do you think should have replaced Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men?

I actually liked Ashton Kutcher..........at first. His character offered a 'shot in the arm', for a series that was now showing (the inevitable) signs of 'ageing'. Unfortunately though, it wasn't too long after that, that the story-lines got increasingly bad. Sheen's exit destroyed the PERFECT chemistry that he and Cryer had built together (obviously, with the help of the writers), thus, making it almost impossible for anybody else to (successfully) follow. It would have been VERY interesting to get to see how this show would have REALLY ended, if Sheen hadn't blown it all up in season eight.... P.S. You should add "Other", as another option in the Poll..... SAVE FERRIS

Kutcher didn't even try to replace Sheen. He left the show, but I liked Kutcher anyway.

I liked Kutcher, also. I've always liked him and think that he's a smart guy who has made a living playing dimwits.

Overall I liked Kutcher. Could they have found someone better fit for the series? Yes. But overall Kutcher did fine. I think the biggest issue was the writers struggled finding his place in the series. Basically all of season 9 was an experiment. They kind of found their way in season 10 but then lost it a season later. They finished up decently strong with season 12.

Neil Patrick Harris playing a "Barney" (How I Met Your Mother), or "Barney-like" character might have been good, but even more interesting might have been somebody like Ryan Reynolds......though I doubt he'd ever go back to a regular sitcom role again......at least at this stage of his career..... Out of all of these actors who do you think should have replaced Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men? Nobody--the show died when he left(although the show was already dying for about a year before that), just like when Steve Carell left The Office, or when Dick York left Bewitched

I don't think replacing Charlie Sheen was the problem. I think the writing went down after Sheen left.
I never had a problem with Ashton Kutcher. The writing got stupid and silly. It was smart and clever when Sheen was there.
