I love video games, but I don't really get the attraction to most exclusive Nintendo games. My favorite games include stuff like Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, etc.

I'm a probably less than casual fan now. I was really into it back when it was at its peak, I watched the anime, played the games, had the cards etc.
I actually went through Soul Silver last week. Bought it in 2013 and never played it but finally made the time to play it.

Gold and Soul Silver are great games. I have been a fan of Pokemon since the animated TV series started airing here in Australia in the 90s and I got Pokemon Blue on Gameboy and since then I have bought every Pokemon video game, watched every episode of the show and seen all of the movies. I own a lot of Pokemon merchandise too including Pokemon plush toys which I adore and my pets (some of which I named after Pokemon like my cat, Vulpix, my bunny, Eevee and my pig, Jigglypuff) have their own Pokemon plush toys too that they play with. Jolteaon is Occy's (one of my Malshis) favourites and he is always shaking him and throwing him around the house.

I remember playing Pokémon Red at a friend's house, I'd never even heard of it before but after that I badgered my mom to get me a Gameboy Colour and Pokémon Red.
I've got that, Pokémon Yellow, Gold, Sapphire, Leaf Green, Diamond, Soul Silver and White.
Still haven't really played Diamond and White after the amny years I've owned them but I'll try to one day.
I never bought the 3DS and have no intention of doing so so I'll probably never get anymore.
I'm surprised after all this time they haven't made a console remake of Pokémon Red and Blue. Current HD graphics with a huge open world and voice acting. It'd be a big seller.

I never really got into the Pokemon video games, so I got into it through the anime. I had a Pikachu plushie and a Pokemon manga.  Not to mention a Professor Oak shirt.  |

Yeah. I am really surprised by that too 'cause I know a lot of people that would love to have some of the Colour games remade for one of the consoles and I have no doubt it would make a lot of money if they did it but for some unknown reason they didn't even put any of the Colour games on the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U when they had sections for Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS that were full of different games including the Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games so they are deliberately keeping the Colour games off consoles and I am not sure why. Maybe it might have something to do with trading Pokemon 'cause I think it would be impossible to do it on the old games through a console like the Wii U or Switch.  |

 No. I am only teasing. I like superhero/comic book movies too but as a Bisexual who is more attracted I have to say I do want to see more strong sexy female superheroes on screen 'cause Superman and Captain America do nothing for me.  A proper 'Red Sonja' movie that is more like the recent comics by Gail Simone and Amy Chu would be my preference.  I think everybody should be free to like whatever they like without other people judging and with Pokemon I know I am not the only one around my age that loves it and there were recent statistics here that said at least 60 percent of people who purchased 'Pokemon Go' and 'Sun and Moon' in Australia were women aged between 20-40 so I will have you know Lenlenlen1 that I am quite common.  Also I love teddy bears and have a huge teddy bear collection and I am not embarrassed to admit it. |

Well, I for one love that there are more women who are into pop culture (comics, gaming, star wars, etc.) than ever before. It raises the audience overall and increases the chances of nerds interacting with the female species. Nerds are in desperate need. We can help one another. It'll be good for everyone.
p.s. A new Red Sonja movie would rock, but I want a movie about barbarians that is as gritty as their real lives might have really been. Not the almost camp versions we've gotten in the past. Sonja would have to be a powerful bad ass to survive in that harsh world. Even more so than Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road. It wouldn't be a TnA movie (though who doesn't like a little o' that, right?! You know what I mean! LOL) but a real exploration of a barbarian world.

I have read the recent Red Sonja comics. Some are good, some not so much, but none have reached true heights of greatness IMO. Still holding out for greatness in regards to Sonja.
...I was just never attracted to guys the way I am to women...
