If true, I figured that would happen when Book Of Henry flopped. Even Jurassic World is pretty divisive.

If true, I figured that would happen when Book Of Henry flopped. Even Jurassic World is pretty divisive. Perhaps, but you don't fire someone on one project because another one of their projects failed. If that were the case then NO ONE would be safe! The greatest directors of all time have had flops. All of them! There not one director alive who hasn't had a flop. Not one.
At this point I have to ask what is this extremely thin creative line that Kennedy wants her directors to fall within? You hire a director based on work you've seen them do in the past, and then you let them fucking direct. If you hired them in the first place it must be because you thought they could do the job, so... let them. Whats the problem? How far afield are these people going that they have to be fired?

Kathleen Kennedy clearly can't make up her mind and doesn't know what she's doing.

As of Right Now, It looks like the Top 2 Guys to Replace Colin Trevorrow as Director of "EPISODE IX" are JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson.

First Lord and Miller fired from Han Solo, now Trevorrow has dropped out of Episode IX. Lucasfilm just can't get a break from director departures now can they?

Hey, Now don't tell me that Ron Howard was Not a Step Up from Lord & Miller! He was? I'm surprised he found time to reshoot their stuff in between Dan Brown movies.
