Since Colin Trevorrow is Now Out as the Director of "STAR WARS: EPISODE IX", Who does everybody here think should Replace Him as the New Director of it ?

i said Someone New because of those listed i don't really want them back or they are unproven.
i will say that i'm more interested in seeing Johnson's film than the other folks they've brought in.

Yeah, none of these guys. A couple of months ago I would have said Johnson, but then I found out The Last Jedi would be introducing "porgs", which manage to make ewoks look butch in comparison. Probably not Johnson's idea, but I'd like someone with the power to tell the toy merchandisers to f*** off when necessary.

Either Abrams or Johnson. It has to be someone very close to the project who is in tune with where the story is going, not "someone new."

Please just not Jar Jar Abrams . I'd choose Alfonzo Cuaron (director of Gravity & Children of Men).

They should just go with Rian Johnson. He's apparently willing to do it anyway.

Agreed but the thing is with Rian Johnson and I am certain that this is also the same case with JJ Abrams is that they will want to write the script for " EPISODE IX" and the script is already currently being written by another person (and he was just recently hired too).
