I don't normally pay that much attention to where anyone is from, so I need to look at a list . . . and unfortunately I can't find a big list of them without having to go through something really laborious like having to look up actors from every African country individually.
BUT, re the lists that I found:
Charlize Theron - who is one of the few that I knew was from Africa.
Peter Mensah - loved him on Midnight, Texas, and I loved that show in general, although I don't think I've seen him in anything else.
Djimon Honsou - I'm not a huge fan, but I've liked him in everything I've seen him in.
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Idris Elba and Thandie Newton apparently don't count, as they were actually born in the UK. Otherwise they'd be on my list.

I haven't yet seen Midnight, Texas, but I really want to check it out. Peter Mensah was great in Spartacus as Doctore/Oenomaus. Worth checking out if you're ever looking for something to watch. |
