Well all cities are historical.
But if i understand your question you mean a city that no longer exist than my answer is Babylon.
But if you mean which cities history that is most interesting than my answer is Rome and Athens.

'i'd like to trade you $23 worth of tchotchke for this island please...' southern us city. st Augustine. favorite European city... London. would have loved to see anne Boleyn be beheaded... I heard she was nervous so she asked someone to talk to her while the axe was coming down... so this guard talked to her and she talked back to him... then her head gets chopped off and her head is rolling around it the basked STILL TALKING!
