I much prefer the Ford GTs from ten years ago or so. Then there are the ones that Carrol Shelby raced at Le Mans in the sixties. Ferrari sneered. Porsche chuckled. Ol' Carrol's Ford GTs swept 1,2,3!!!

I much prefer the Ford GTs from ten years ago or so. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the front end, especially with that square grill, but it does look a little less Lamborghini-ish. Take the racing stripe off and that would be a beautiful car.

I like the relative simplicity of the older versions. As you note, the newer ones are Lamborghini-ish – i.e., too hyper-modern.

I'd rather have the older iterations. I believe the new one is powered by a version of the Eco-Boost V-6 powerplant. No matter how much power it has, nothing sounds like a screaming V-8.
