I very rarely watch this network but for some reason I'm glad it's there.

I suppose I'm happy it's there too, taylorfirst1. I don't watch it all that often, but I do like Monk (when it wasn't trying to be too cutesy) and kinda-sorta like Murder, She Wrote (there are a handful of great episodes--usually the ones with scripts recycled from the scrapped second season of Ellery Queen--but for the most part it's far too cutesy, and terribly plotted). I'm delighted when there's a Columbo on, certainly. I do wish that, if it owned the rights, it would put on some other television mystery shows, though. And I guess I'm happy that Hallmark has its mawkish Christmas movies on every December, even if only for me to mock them relentlessly...

What do you think of the franchises they have created themselves? The ones like "Garage Sale Mysteries", etc, etc, etc. I watch them once in awhile and if I am in the right mood they can be entertaining.

taylorfirst1 I think I've only seen one or two of them. They're not exactly my cup of tea, but, yes, they can be entertaining if you're in the right mood. They strike me as very similar to the main Hallmark Channel's Christmas movies (which I can also enjoy if in the right mood, as noted), though.

I used have that channel and was really glad I was able to catch most of the McBride (film series) just before that channel went away from my FIOS system . It was great while it lasted . Thanks so much taylorfirst1 for your subject post .

I like them but for the life of me I can never understand these women who run in whore heals and beach waves in their hair from an explosion.
