Now this is what making fan trailers is all about! Holy shit that's awesome. Whoever made this gets a blowjob. But not from me. What's the mater with you. Go find your own.

What happened to trailers like this? Seriously, where did they go?

Were they using Masters of the Universe music in there?

Love it! It's amazingly period accurate, right down to the over-explaining of the entire concept in the trailer. Genius.

Oh my god, that's so 80s it's insane. I was expecting to hear "Golan-Globus Presents" at the end of the trailer it was so accurate. Somebody needs to buy a round for whoever did that.

Golan-Globus in the opening credits always signaled you were about to be entertained when you were a kid back in the faraway days of the 80's. Sadly there doesn't seem to be many companies producing similar low to middle budgeted movies these days. Nice find Ackbar. Thanks for posting it.

Did studios just suddenly stop using voice overs or was it a gradual change? Just a great trailer and brings back memories! For starters they got better at cutting trailers, but mostly it's because audiences became more sophisticated over time. They realized they don't have to have a guy narrate the story that's already being presented to us on screen. We can get the gist of it without being spoonfed the plot points by a redundant voice over.
It's still fun to watch those old trailers and hear the, "In a world..." guy, though.

Also, sadly, Don LaFontaine the "in a world where" voice over guy passed away several years ago. He was worth 80 million when he died. Nice work if you can get it.
