DC has stepped up, it is easily a top 10 maybe top 5 super hero movie. It's getting harder to put a number as I can actually put 15 in my top 10 and 8 in my top 5. Lets hope DC and Marvel can keep it up! Also hope Spawn is great!

Yeah. It is a great movie and I am glad you enjoyed it. It wasn't the best superhero movie ever but I don’t think we have ever had a truly great superhero movie though and as somebody who has been reading comic books for decades I think every adaption we have had as movies and TV shows hasn’t been as good as it could have been. Some of them have been good, yes, but there has been far more flops and disappointments in the comic book/superhero genre than hits and you only need to look at films such as Superman 3, Superman 4, Supergirl, Captain America, Judge Dredd, The Phantom, Barb Wire, Black Scorpion, Red Sonja, Tank Girl, Spawn, Darkman 2, Darkman 3, The Crow: Wicked Prayer, The Crow: Salvation, The Crow: City of Angels, Steel, Nick Fury, Howard the Duck, The Fantastic Four 2: The Rise of the Silver Surfer, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, the Punisher, The Punisher War Zone, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3, Mystery Man, Faust: Love of the Damned, Hulk, Constantine, Jonah Hex, Hancock, Conan the Barbarian, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Elektra, the Incredible Hulk etc. I mean there have been some real stinkers and Hollywood used the failure of 3 female superheroes not to make female superheroes movies for a long time but the reality is the comic book/superhero genre has produced hundreds of flops and disappointments with male and female leads and the success of Wonder Woman bit them on the ass and showed what a lot of us already know. People want MORE female lead comic book movies with strong, sexy kickass leads and not everybody wants to see guys in spandex all the time.

Agreed, although I make no promises about Spawn.

Agreed! For me the first CBM I've seen to get the horrors of war writing right and treat war respectfully. Also, good old fashioned storytelling with proper character development. plus and a neat message that human nature is not good or bad but an evolving struggle.

For someone whoes great grandfather fought in that war I respectfully disagree. I dont know if you have been to the trenches but that scene where WW crosses no mans land makes me sick. Too easy. Since she is not bulletproof she really would have been shot to pieces. That scene makes a mockery of the miĺlions who gave their life in the trenches.

I'll buy it on BR because it's a genre milestone and probably the most talked about and hyped movie of the year, even overshadowing Dunkirk. Bought Logan too, so it's only fair.
