Yea I don't get it. I mean if her conversations with Sansa were actually legit instead of deliberately misleading I would've ended the season very much disliking her character. But since it was a big ruse to mess with Littlefinger I left it still loving her and her journey. If you hate her for being a murderer then there can't be many characters in the show that you actually like. Bran I guess. Her unpleasant conversations with Sansa were to bluff the audience. But even before she reached Winterfell a lot of people were using the word psychopath for her. One should carefully watch the first episode of the season. She didn't kill ordinary soldiers of House Frey. She killed the ones who were involved in red wedding. She has been one of the best human beings through 7 seasons. just because she finishes off scums like Ser Meryn or Lord Frey, she is not a psychopath.

You'd have a point if she were not taking obvious pleasure in killing scum.

Arya is a cold blooded killer. She used to be cute as she learned her trade and interacted with the killers that trained her. Her likeability is despite due to that and so, as she kills more and more, it is understandable people would start cooling to her as the cute little Stark girl and especially in this last season where her very best scene was the first episode and it was largely due to actor playing Walder Frey and the scene in the final episode acting like a sister with Sansa. So are most of the characters in the series though. As the Hound says, "Killing is the sweetest thing."

If revenge is the thing, would she still be justified in killing the Hound?

Why wouldn't you hate Arya (in a storytelling perspective)? She's the most boring main character in the show. She hasn't had a good storyline since season 4 ended.

I have mixed feelings about arya , I thought the writing of her character this season was off and awful the reunion between her and Sansa was anything but warm and obviously writers did that for a reason to make LF execution more of a surprise and if S7 was not leaked it would come across that way They did redeem her character in the last episode when she and Sansa made up but so much went on off camera makes me Wonder what other conversations or discussions the stark siblings had with each other.

I'm sure that's very useful to them afterwards. She does not only kill them, she lectures them first, adding torture to injury. She's the worst
