I know the gut reaction is yes, but considering that BVS didn't make that mark and that JL will be competing directly with Thor and even has Star Wars just a few weeks later, while BVS had no competition, what are the odds JL realistically passes BVS or Homecoming? Also consider the overall sentiment to the DCU was not as hopeless at the time.

If it gets good reviews, yes.
If it gets bad reviews, no.

Okay so your answer is no right? No I'm actually up in the air a bit. I want to say it will honestly, but then you look at the fact that people were much more hopeful about BVS and that JL will have vastly stronger direct competition, and I just don't know. I don't know what I would point to that would suggest it will do better than BVS, other than it can't help but have at least slightly better reviews and people liked Wonder Woman more than anything else they've done. I'll say it gets slightly higher. Maybe like 950 or something. I really don't know though.

I really don't know. I actually wouldn't be surprised at all to see this gross less than Batman vs Superman.
There seems to be a lot less actually going for Justice League when compared to Batman vs Superman. If Superman had been heavily featured in the marketing then I'd have said yes.

It'll be a tough climb and I'd be surprised if it did; It is still Justice League so that may help it opening weekend. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was in the exact same situation last November. Marvel movie like two weeks in advance of its release with a Disney animated film the week afterwards. But it still did fine. This one might not surpass SMH but it'd probably cross $800M in time like WW did.

If that proves to be correct, the movie would need to be absolute dog crap not to reach well over $800 million.

Depends on the reviews, but I'm sure with how popular Wonder Woman is it'll give them a boost.
