I'd rate "Alien Nation" as one of the best science fiction series in the history of television, setting a new standard for realism, taboo-breaking and social relevance in the genre. Although it was canceled after only one season (and on a cliffhanger, to boot) fans were ultimately rewarded with a series of television movies continuing the story of Detectives Sykes and Francisco.

I gave it a 7/10, although I haven't seen it since it was originally aired.

How come you choose to Make the ball about the TV show and not the movie?

How come you choose to Make the ball about the TV show and not the movie? I think the tv show was better than the movie, and I'm guessing more people watched the series than watched the movie.
