MCU fans celebrated when several articles came out a month before the release of Wonder Woman calling the movie "a complete" mess. MCU fans celebrated when several articles said James Wan was quitting as Director of Aquaman. MCU fans celebrated when several articles said Ben Affleck was quitting as Batman. And MCU fans celebrated when several articles said the DC Universe movies would no longer be connected. But all of those rumors have been proven to be false. And the latest rumor about the DC Universe movies not being connected have also been proven false, as Geoff Johns himself has personally confirmed that the movies will still be 100% connected. Geoff Johns Confirms DC Films Universe Is "100% Connected"Once again, MCU fans fail with their false rumors. But I understand why MCU fans want to spread so many false rumors. Because they want to distract everyone from the fact that Inhumans is a huge disaster. Just 4% on RT. That's even lower than the 9% for Fantastic Four (2015). So MCU must have the record for lowest RT rating ever! Now THAT is embarrassing!

WW is their only success, and in our hearts we know they'll botch it again after that too.

I'd call myself a DC fan as well as a Marvel fan (doesn't mean I automatically have to like the DCEU). Them not knowing how to handle the movies is not a good thing. Same goes for Sony and Fox trying to capitalize on what Marvel/Disney did in a short time when they have been at it for almost 2 decades (Spider-man did do better in the beginning). Dc has been coasting on Superman 1 & 2 and Batman '89 for decades. And it is showing on recent movies. Every other DC movie except the 1st 2 Nolan movies have gotten ragged on.

Justice League, Aquaman and Flash have to be good and popular for the DCEU to have a chance. The MCU has had some missteps, but they started out small and strong. Hell, the DCEU had two starts. Everyone seems to forget tgat Green Lantern is the actual 1st DCEU movie.

In the context of that particular trilogy, it made perfect sense. The Batman of those films never intended to wage a neverending war on crime. His goal was specifically to give the people of Gotham the hope they needed to fight back against corruption. Retiring may not be something the comic book Batman would do, but it made perfect sense for Nolan’s version of Batman.

He just put someone else in his place. That just told us that it was an ongoing battle.

MCU fanboys are most braindead people on the planet. Don't you mean fanboys in general? A fanboy is a person that won't waiver from their chosen fandom and would defend it against other fandoms. Mostly similar fandoms. They won't see a benefit in the overall fandom. Just their corner. They don't care if their corner of the fandom is bad and needs to be fixed. At least some of the X-men fandom see that there is a problem. The DCEU fandom keeps bringing up Oscars because they finally got a good one and one for friggin make-up. The MCU needs better people in charge of network tv. Whoever keeps giving Scott Buck work needs a long vacation.

Bruce only needed to be Batman long enough to serve as a symbol of hope to the people of Gotham and by the end of the trilogy, he accomplished just that. He was even getting ready to retire in TDK when it seemed like Harvey Dent was going to be the symbol of hope Gotham needed.

Sorry you're still deeply deeply ashamed of CBMs that embrace their nature, instead of selling out. yeah, what happened? I grew up, I dated women, I studied...you know it's not that bad. You should try it too eventually. But sometimes, only sometimes, I wish I could return to that basement together with the raptor and ArchyStanton to play with their sticky ponies and read those soiled comics. But than I get ashamed again.

Sorry you're still deeply deeply ashamed of CBMs that embrace their nature, instead of selling out. yeah, what happened? You sold out. CS Lewis would not approve. Nor would Tolkien. So yes, you're ashamed of comics...ashamed of anything with the hint of innovation and creativity, actually. Leave it to you, we wouldn't have Dr Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Twin Peaks...lots of great stuff.

The only correct thing is this non sequitur post is that you did not name MCU among innovation and creativity. But this is of course absolutely correct. Tip my hat for that even if it was a Freudian slip.
