Why make an episode where the characters imagine themselves in fantastical situations (in this case, as if they were volcano-themed super-heroes)? The whole point of the show is that they can experience them.
In every episode so far (as well as every episode of the old series), we would see the kids in danger, but nothing bad ever happens to them. The 2 MS. FRIZZLES always have a positive attitude like they knew exactly how everything would turn out. However, many times it has seemed to me like nothing bad happened to the kids out of luck. It happens here

when the bus turns into rocks and the kids roll inside of them. Actually, making them roll in the 1st place is unnecessarily mean. They didn't need that in order to learn.
