Quite the committee meeting the Leafs had in the penalty box.
Both of these teams are my enemies but I'm pulling for Toronto. I think I hate Boston more.

That was edge of your seat stuff. Toronto led a charmed existence in the 3rd. Andersen was great.
Now, win game 6 and suddenly it's all up for grabs.

Hang on to win 4-3. Big 2 man penalty kill in the second. Pastrnak still getting lots of great chances to score.

Toronto forces game 7 with a 3-1 win. Andersen continues making great saves. How many shorthanded chances is Kapanen going to get before he scores?

Toronto scores 2 in the second for a 4-3 lead. Can they hang on?

4-3 Toronto, Kapanen with a SHG... Finally scores on a sweet move after not scoring on great chances in previous games.

It's over. 4 goals by Boston in the third gives them a 7-4 win. Series ends for the Leafs the way it started in the first 2 games: a bad period getting outscored 4-0.

Jake Gardiner

He attempted 12 stretch passes.

Stretch passes are his MO. He was worse than usual defensively and not as helpful as usual offensively. Not a good combo.

Didn't look good for a while there, but the Bruins found a way to get it done. Weird series. At times Boston clearly looked like the superior team, but somehow they allowed this to go seven. Not a great game by Rask.
