Of course MATT doesn't like the script. It's hard for a work of art to be good when you're doing it because someone told you to. I'm not saying it shouldn't happen that way. I know there's a business. I'm just pointing out that aspect. I'm glad that SEAN & BEVERLY took it well. Yes, they were angry at MATT's betrayal but, once they re-read the script, they embraced his constructive criticism. When SEAN & BEVERLY figure out that MATT is only apologizing because he read their new script, I thought the show was going to end on the following note: MATT will never change and his friendship with SEAN & BEVERLY will be an endless cycle. The way the scene plays out feels more like they're forgiving him. The difference is that it feels more sentimental than ironic. I could also say the same thing about the other storylines. At the end, we see the supporting characters happy and it feels a little forced. MORNING forgave MERC? HELEN doesn't mind that CAROL's baby is MERC's, who she hates? Speaking of him, why didn't the title sequence of the show-within-show show an actor playing MERC? Why will SEAN & BEVERLY be played by acting legends while CAROL will be played by an actress on the edge of A-list? That being said, I still think it's a good finale. This is literally one of the best shows I've ever seen and I'll miss it a lot.

I watched the whole series in a few weeks, saw it on Netflix just before the final season aired. Genuinely funny show!
What about the woman who always had the funny look on her face, she was pregnant too. I wanted to know more about her.
