Hi Admin, please may I have a pass to the Politics Boards, and why can I not PM? New members do not have those privileges. Perhaps it would help if I told you my story. When my old, old laptop finally bombed out on Sunday, I went out and bought a new one on Monday. Once I had connected it, I could, try as I might, no longer log into my IMDB2 account of just over 5 years - user name JeffersonCody. Nor could I recover my password. After thinking about it for a while it came to me that when I first joined this forum - on February 19, 2017, I had a different e-mail account. And so, I opened a new account as stryker - under the same e-mail account I have been using for at least the last year or two, because I actually missed the likes of PaulsLaugh, All Eyes on Shayes, Caped Crusader, Carl LaFong, merh, Trashie, averagejoe, Zos, Trident, hiraganakanji, kindercarebear, Catman, Stickman, Xellie, Mike-6, mr self, ant-mac, Mike-6, NoRevs, hugs, Rissa, Notoriousnobbi, Politicidal, marsatax, shady, Spitfire, OftrollOrigins, Nightman, gameboy. and a myriad of other posters on the Politics Board . You might remember that I am a 60-something white South African with a great love for and knowledge of films who sees the amoral, corrupt, serial lying trump as a clear and present danger to Democracy in America. Until less than a week ago I had amassed over 33 000 posts as (Exalted Member) JeffersonCody. I felt a sense of community and belonging on the Politics Board. Fact is, I miss the folk of the Classic Board, the fun of posting on it, along with the small sense of community I felt when I was there. i felt a sense of connection to a larger world than just my corner of Africa. I guess I should put a notification in my profile saying I am the user formerly known as JeffersonCody.

And despite what Bartlesby would have you believe, if I wanted to kill it, I would just delete it with a few quick clicks. You should have access to Politics now, but you need 50 legit posts to initiate PM's. Things have changed a bit since Jefferson was a new member. And just FYI: "Registrations from VPN's, private servers, proxies, and other suspicious IP's will be summarily rejected." Given how many times you tried to register a new account, you should have seen that at least once. You also could have sent a note with your registrations to let me know it was you.
