C^nt, Faggot, and n****r. What does that say about us as a species? We are kind of a hateful bunch. Words aren't vile, only the intention behind them is, faggot or fag for example are not actually bad words and have more meanings than just being homophobic slurs, fag is the what brits call cigarettes and there is a dish called faggot over here, is something I personally take little to no offense to but I find swear words don't get my goat much, I find other slurs such as racial or sexual ones far more disgusting to hear.
imo people need to be less concerned with words and more concerned with intent and attitudes, words change their meaning over time, hatred will always just be hatred no mater when it rears it's ugly head.
