I know Miami Vice had a lot of great music during it's run, but this Dire Straits classic is one of my favorites.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer had some decent tunes.

Great song. I also like El Paso by Marty Robbins.

The use of 'The Man Comes Around' by Johnny Cash in the Season 1 final of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Oh, and the opening of the Supernatural Season 1 episode ‘Skin’ set to Iron Butterfly’s ‘In A Gadda Da Vida’.

For my money...
No TV scene will ever meld song, emotion, character and everything else into one beautiful moment like this:

The finale of Six Feet Under pretty much gutted me with "Breathe Me". Of course, the movie Cyberbully has probably ruined that song ever being taken seriously in a scene again.
