It depends on whether or not they were aware that Jesus was doing it for the good of mankind. If they were aware, I'm pretty sure Satan was tempting Jesus in the garden, and the fallen angels were sad when the crucifixion happened. If they weren't aware, I'm sure they rejoiced, but then were sad when Jesus came back to life.

If they weren't aware, I'm sure they rejoiced, but then were sad when Jesus came back to life. Another way to look at it would be if perhaps Jesus is their salvation as well? Do they mourn him or rejoice?

No, you first. Hint: What ways can your question be construed?

This question can be construed in many ways Yes, they did. Satan presumed with Jesus' death he'd defeated God and he and all his little lieutenants partied when Jesus died. Satan had not counted on God's ability to resurrect, though. In this way, Satan's determination to kill Jesus brought God's will to pass; Satan helped provide salvation to mankind. A secondary benefit was Jesus' resurrection which gave him Kingship over the Universe. No wonder Satan is always so pissed.

There would be no reason for them to rejoice at his death since it meant their doom.

Lucifer,
Here's something I bet you didn't know, Satan was the "choirmaster" for the angels before he was cast out.

Probably for about 5 minutes until they realised that it meant their final defeat.

There would be no reason for them to rejoice at his death since it meant their doom. Read my post which explains that Satan and his fallen angels were unaware that God could resurrect Jesus, as well as His followers.
