Especially with this all black cast and there are a lot of racist people out there, including some people that have an account on this website. It is under Marvel/Disney though. Is there a chance?

Yes. Racism never stopped a good Will Smith or a good Eddie Murphy film (remember those?) from big a megahit.

I would personally say no. I could see it making around $600 million though inbetween Ant-man and Doctor Strange.

I could see it making around $600 million though inbetween Ant-man and Doctor Strange. That's a fair enough of an assessment, since Spider-Man: Homecoming is the only MCU "origin" film to make that much, but that's because it was Spider-Man. Black Panther, despite some initial hype received from Civil War, is still pretty new to audiences. |

Whatever it makes ( which will likely be a lot ) should be considered a huge win. After all, just a few years ago, most people hadn't even heard of him. In fact, when I told my friend they had announced a "Black Panther" solo film, he actually said "Who's that?"  |

I figured because he had a great performance in CW that the character can attract a huge number of the male audience, he can pull in a lot of green in the box office. I personally think he was a huge reason why CW was good in the first place. |

I'd be impressed (in a good way) if it even makes that much. I'd expect between $700 and $750M.

Nope, it could make 300m in the USA. But it will probably be a 50/50 split overseas. 500m-600m worldwide
