What if Thor took Diana's place in her movie and she took Thor's place in his first movie? Let's say this is pre-humility Thor, just before his powers were taken away from him, and we give him Diana's role in her movie just as she lands in London. Then we take Diana as she was just as she leaves her island, then give her Thor's role in his first movie just as he's about to start a fight with the frost giants. Both are equipped with their standard armor and weapons. Both are granted whatever knowledge they need to further the plot... for example: Thor know's how to read Dr. Maru's notebook and Diana knows the intricacies of Asgardian society. However, they don't get each other's complete knowledge, just that which is necessary to further the plot. The side characters still treat the characters in roughly the same manner, at least similarly enough to further the plot. So Odin still banishes Diana and Steve still doesn't believe Thor is out to kill Ares.
Which hero can finish the other's movie more easily? Who struggles more?

Diana would kick Thor's ASS.

Well, Loki's arse would be toast. Steve and Thor might have an awkward moment of feeling like they'd met before. Although I think she might have gotten through his movie a bit faster, cause she doesn't get in her own way like pre-depowered Thor did.

The more interesting question is - would the exact same WW story (with a couple of necessary adjustments) have received as much praise had an appropriate male superhero (e.g. Cap or Thor) been substituted in her place? I think we all know the answer to that one.

Would Gadot hook up with Portman, and Hemsworth with Pine? Let's stay away from that in this thread. Though what you do with your own imagination is up to you.

It's hard to say because while Wonder Woman was pretty powerful in the movie it was the circumstances at the end that led her to severely power up to what she was in Batman vs Superman.
Pre-power up she may not be able to beat the Frost Giants, not that many anyway.

Would we get as many topless scenes with WW as we do with Thor?

Sorry, I wasn't trying to scold you or anything. I guess my previous post would have sounded a lot better if I put a wink on it. Anyway, let's stay away from the relationships because it would complicate the thread, but it actually is a question worth pondering outside the thread.

Would we get as many topless scenes with WW as we do with Thor? Depends, do you want Thor to wear as short a skirt as WW does?

I understand in some ways, this is apples & oranges- still fun though.

In attitude and responsibilities, yes I agree. I just don't recall him ever getting in his own way in a fight. True, more like his attitude causes him to be in fights that aren't needed, such as the one that he starts because the Frost Giant tells him, "Run along little Princess", and going to Jotunheim at all. I feel like if it had been Diana, she would not have gone to fight them with such a tiny band and without any thought/planning or even knowing who it was that let the 2 get through to the gallery. And if she still had gone, she would not have been goaded into a fight the way Thor was, so she wouldn't have gotten in so much trouble with papa/Odin. And with her lasso, Loki could not hide stuff from her the way he could Thor... assuming Loki/Odin/etc. can't do with her lasso what Ares did, that is.
