For me the show ended up on life support after the ninth season, I recognize that there were signs of bad health in its 8th season which became more obvious in its 9th( The Principal and The Pauper immediately springs to mind despite having some funny moments) but the ball didn't begin to really fumble for me till season 10 rolled in, it was till they did an episode where for a gag Homer actually forgets he and his family live in America that I said to myself "okay, no more denying it, the plug was pulled."

I still watch it with my family and we enjoy it. It can still be great at times, cheesy at other times, but for a show on this long that is pretty good. There have been some very quality episodes since season 9.

The Frank Grimes episode.
I watched it until last year but just got bored with it even though it got funnier after several years of dullsville.

I used to watch it regularly without missing an episode probably until season 12 or 13 or so. After a string of poor episodes, I stopped making a point of catching every single new episode, and not long afterwards stopped watching entirely.
Fast-forward to two or three years ago. After not watching for years, I catch one new episode, and it's not too bad. Over the following weeks or months I watch a few more episodes here and there, and finally decide to start recording all new episodes again. It is certainly not the guaranteed laughs of 25 years ago, and there is definitely a risk of cringing, but the wackyness can still be very entertaining sometimes.

It's a tough call. The last golden season was season 9. But I do own seasons 10-13 on DVD. They're not great, but some of the episodes are still entertaining. Season 14 is the true death of the show- the switch to digital animation and a complete lack of good episodes killed it for me.

It never ended. I may not laugh as much as I used to watching it before the 20th season, but every now and then, they still come up with a very funny episode.

I STILL like it. Now "Family Guy" can end now and I wouldn't shed a tear, it's just not as funny as it had been.

I still watch it but the show's golden age dropped some time after season twelve or thirteen.

I stopped watching the show after Season 13, but the last great season is Season 8 imo.
It was Season 10 when I noticed a huge drop in quality. The stories became very dumb, the comic timing is all off, the editing isn't nearly as good and the characters become caracatures of themselves, especially after Season 10.
The main problem is that the show did everything it possibly could by Season 9. It already had every joke, it already had every character moment and it already used every story element.
