I think the moment where HENRY typed the first sentence of his new book would've had more emotional impact had we seen him write a little bit more. "Once upon a time" has a deep meaning in this show (beyond the title), but the scene is about him finally getting inspiration. Really? He needed inspiration to write literally the most generic first sentence a story can have?

Once Upon a Time went downhill when Season 2 started.

Once Upon a Time went downhill when Season 2 started. Pretty much. There were some good storylines in S2 and 3, but it never reclaimed the quality of Season 1. The show has been one of the biggest wastes of time I have suffered through, and season 7, which I am finally giving up on, is a lame long dead corpse. The show had so, so much promise, so much going for it at one stage...but all that has been wasted away down the toilet. The biggest disappointment I've ever had.

Each season has its strong points and its flaws. The first half of season 4 was very good. Nothing has been wasted away down the toilet.
