Has anyone watched Embiid and Simmons play? I mean, seriously. People keep criticizing the process, especially with the Fultz injury now, but it is obviously working. Simmons will win ROY in a landslide at this rate (Averaging almost a triple double) and Embiid is averaging 20 and 10. They're 2-4. I mean yes, they have some talented players. Lots of teams have a few talented players; some even find a way to win games. You don't have to tank for years to acquire talent, and simply acquiring talent is not the same as winning games. I'm with you and Frogs, I think the Sixers have some great young players. I just disagree with the idea that 'The Process' is working because these guys fill up a highlight reel. Basketball execs don't get paid to assemble a Globetrotters team, their job is to make the team competitive. When the Sixers are making deep playoff runs, you can say the process was a success (and even then I'd argue that you don't have to bottom out for years to get there-- look at what the Celtics did), until then just enjoy the highlights and hope they keep improving. I'll say this: for a city notorious for terrible fans who consider booing the main reason to attend a sporting event, you two are incredibly optimistic. And I mean that as a genuine compliment, I really do. They have won 3 of 4 now and have been leading in the fourth in all games except one. They will continue to win and will be a good team this year. The process is working. I am sorry, but having two legit superstars on your team is a HUGE deal. The Sixers have that now.
