Cool. The X-men movies are branching off in different time periods which limits possibilities of crossovers but still unique in their own way.

Let's hope it goes better than the last time they tried to do spinoffs.

I freaking loved Laura. Count me in for a spin off.

Wait... I remember when there was a time people were crying about ending it there and letting that timeline with Logan end. Because it was a good send off for Jackman and "his" character. Now that they say they may do a Laura movie (all those kids were X-23), it's all good? So confused...

The world/universe is still alive though so no reason why the continuation of X23 kids cant continue.

Not saying anyone specifically. Just something I noticed mostly from X-men movie fans. This thing that it shouldn't happen until the movie makers want to put it in the movies. They don't say it outright, but it isn't accepted until then.* *Apocalypse was this sort of thing. Singer said he wouldn't do him so fans decided he was impossible. When Singer announced he'd do Apocalypse, he became possible again.

If they didn't make a New Mutants/X-Force type movie after Logan with those kids, then something is wrong.

Here is how I feel. they should do a full reboot.
If James Mangold wants to go on with laura, he can do so. what fox then needs to do is treat laura's timeline as a complete alternate reality. Cable will be the key here because if they ever need laura for X-Force, he can time travel and have her cross over to the fully rebooted timeline where there will be no inconsistencies.
Imagine it like nate grey from AOA crossing over to 616.
Hopefully when dark phoenix likely fails, we will get the full clean reboot we deserve with new mutants, gambit and xforce and hopefully a real new timeline X-Men movie with no more singer/kinberg stuff.

I would've preferred no sequels to Logan but this was probably inevitable.

I hope they go with Dafne Keen, she was great in Logan.

Ehhhh she was good in Logan but I don't think I'd want to see an entire movie revolving around her.
Maybe if they could make her a part of some other X-men related movie though.

She'd basically be replacing Wolverine. Replace the character without recasting. It's a good enough idea if she was made a part of a larger team. Just a X-23 movie though starring a little girl version of Wolverine....can't see it getting too much interest. The character was good enough in the movie but to take over from Wolverine is a big ask.
