I have seen most of his famous movies, but about:
Carbine Williams (1952) as a new biopic? Magic Town (1947) to fill out your William Wellman collection of unseen movies? Seventh Heaven (1937) as a re-make of the Janet Gaynor version?

I've seen most of his post World War II films except for Mountain Road and Thunder Bay. Carbine Williams is a good, small, film. I'm not one for prison films (don't like the genre) but this one adds a pretty ingenious inventor to the mix that develops a new weapon that is eventually used by the US Army. I believe the film is based on a true story.

I haven't seen any of his classic westerns. Good chance to see Cheyenne Autumn, Man who Shot Liberty Valence, Shenandoah, Winchester 73. Of course I will revel in favorites like After the Thin Man, and Bell Book and Candle . The scene in BB&C where Hermione Gingold orders him to drink the magic glop is simply comedy school. His eyes, the way his lips reach for the bowl without getting there, and most of all the timing... He's just a brilliant comic actor.

I haven't seen Shenandoah, Winchester '73, Anatomy of a Murder, and I've yet to see 'Mr. Smith Goes to Washington' all the way the way through.

Forgot to mention a particular early goodie -- NAVY BLUE AND GOLD (the film that caught Capra's eye).
