Ok so I've just made a post on the sports board with a link to an external page, but when I've checked the link it only links to the post within which the link has just been placed. Here's the post, with the link in it. linkAm I not getting something? Thanks.

Maybe there's something wrong with the page you're trying to link to?

Maybe there's something wrong with the page you're trying to link to? It's a BBC page, so I would have thought not. Let me try it with your own link: Catman's link

For heaven's sake I know how to copy/paste, how is this happening? (For the record, this what I pasted into the 'http' bit of the link window: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Baron_of_Arizona)

Weird. Maybe take a screenshot of the dialogue box after you've put in the info and post that.

Weird. Maybe take a screenshot of the dialogue box after you've put in the info and post that. I think I might have resolved it - I'm pasting the entire address after the pre-populated http:// prefix in the dialogue box, thus duplicating the http:// clause. I don't know what this does the code exactly, but it makes me look like a spaz. Thank you for your time and input.

I was gonna say, be sure to erase the http crap they give you. hey admins... why is that there? it seems to me that everyone has to erase it so might as well throw it in the trash!
