He has absolutely no affinity with the club, just like Caixinha, Warburton, Le Pen....but wait remember Sally ? Maybe having a stranger in charge would not be such a bad thing. They will give it to McInnes....if he wants it.

far enough from the mrs, so he will be wanting this one.
he has positives, but he also has negatives - he just goes of into his own little world for a few months and the teams he manages suffer. he can literally go 3 months without a point and then sort his head out and win 6 on the spin (for lower mid pl teams)
but he does play a good brand of footie - he can keep it tight when needed , but he has also been the only manager palace have had that allowed palace to play with the ball and win the odd game over only winning on counter attack(since the promotion).
he is an entertaining manager? well for palace for a bit but not one dimensional. can switch styles . No other manager got the best out of palace that includes Sam and Pulis who both were brilliant at staying up but rigid - Sam beat the top teams and lost to the worst teams. Pulis beat the similar and worse teams and lost to all the better teams - but the end result was the same.. At the end of the day the Pardew engineered his way out this affected the team and put us in trouble and he got sacked for stating the yanks know fck all about football.... Then Bg Sam saved us,
Btw this is me reminiscing.. I think I have subconsciously accepted the fate of going down. i am getting a palace flash back.

I really thought you would survive and still believe there are at least 3 teams with worse squads. Then you appointed Hodgson and I now believe your board are panicking like fuck and haven't got a clue.
